Studio Manuel Raeder
Cake Table (Version Wood Berlin)
2011, table and chairs set in 5 different kinds of wood
Pine, birch, OSB, bamboo anad triply version
80 x 100 x 100 cm

The Cake Table, originally designed in 2009, has already become a classic product from Studio Manuel Raeder.
Initially intended as a display system for books, it has found its place in a wider range of environments, including the domestic one.
It consists of five “pie chart” shaped stools and tables that can be arranged in a big array of configurations and groups.
The table has had three iterations until now: a five colour lacquer version, made by Berlin carpenters;
a katalox (Mexican ebony), tzalam (Caribbean walnut), primavera (white mahogany), huanacaxtle (parota) and pine Version made in Oaxaca, Mexico by Casa Verde;
and a pine, birch, bamboo, triply and OSB version, made in Berlin.

These two last versions are now available at info(at)manuelraeder(dot)co(dot)uk for 2800 Euro (Oaxaca Version) and 1800 Euro (Wood Berlin Version, birch, bamboo, pine) excluding shipment.
