'Unpacking Storage Piece, Haegue Yang'
Poster, booklet and invitation, designed for the exhibition at Haubrokshows, Berlin held from the 9th September 3rd October 2007.
Stemming from a personal situation of an absolute lack of storage space. Various previous works are transported and stalked in a pile on a wooden palette,
in order to fulfil another exhibition. The piece is a serious trial of overcoming the personal crisis about space, through art enterprise, as well as insisting
the contextual and conceptual aspect of an art piece. The piece now being part of the collection at Haubrokshows the work is for the first time shown in an unpacked stage.
At the opening two actors represent the artist and perform a speech (two monologues), which shows partially controversial points of view on the piece.
Designed by Manuel Raeder. Available at Wiens Verlag, Berlin.
