'Tris Vonna-Michell'

Tris Vonna-Michell and Manuel Raeder decided to buy a GTO printing press and use it on the occasion of the exhibition at the Halle für Kunst in Lüneburg, as a starting point to conduct different experiments with it. In order to work on a book about the artistic practice of Tris Vonna-Michell. Different texts, transcripts and images were printed on the GTO 46 Heidelberg printingpress with plates alternating on a daily basis. The disseminated material was available as a series of works for the visitors and afterwards inserted into two almost identically looking publications.This book project was developed through a period of three years in a close collaboration between Tris Vonna-Michell and Manuel Raeder and marked for the first time a continuation andimplementation of the artistic practice of TVM in the medium of the book. It is as much an artist book as it is a source for understanding the conceptual implications of the diverse projects andperformances Tris Vonna-Michell has undertaken.
